I know that for most scientists, especially atheists, the concept of a soul or ghost simply does not compute. Biologists have convinced most scientists that the DNA and Chromosomes are all there is. In fact the notion of "sentient genes", in my opinion, is the direct result of the Aspect Experiment. If these Darwinian ideas are the case, then how do you explain vision? Are you going to say that cells can see? (I am referring to the fact, that we should not be able to "see" a complete image in front of our eyes, because the retinal nerve trunk is not sensitive to light. As the notable scientist who reported these findings stated: we should see a silhouette or "cut-out" in the image of the retinal nerve trunk.) What does consciousness have to do with the Soul? Everything!
